wheel painting - how much paint?

I'm going to paint my white steel wheels and I wondered how much paint I would use? I'm sure someone will have done this before. I plan to put a couple of coats on each wheel and I've already ordered 400ml, will this be enough?

id say at least 3 tins

i done mine in the summer, and its was just over three tins, get yourself 4 and put plenty on,

on the above posts i presume thats 3/4 rattle cans?? i'm looking to do the same in the near future as well.

its not to dear, i had grizzly claws on WHITE lol rrc wheels, i done them gloss black, turned out nice, but nowdays they are normally brown lol

Not really that expensive. What colour you painting em?

Buy a few rattle cans of paint from pound land for er £1 , doesn't matter what colour , use it to build up the layers then topcoat with the expensive stuff

Did mine yesterday just like that, look pretty good now
