Wheel arches/spats

I’m after putting 33x12.5x r15’s on my 2000 td5 but would like to know if I need spats to cover the whole tread on the tyres or partial covering ok? What is legally correct?

Tread needs to be coverd. To get that size on I imagine you will have to have -25 offset mods so you will I think need a 50mm aftermarket arch

You will find the traffic cops may put a straight edge against your wheel, up towards the arch.
