Hi folks, I picked up a 1992 110 200tdi a couple of weeks ago, working through the normal long list of jobs. While fitting a steering damper today i found what looks like a drain hole missing its plug. Can anyone tell me what its for?

It's one half of a pair, that's the easy one ... (eBay - 320960261258)
