No worky. Your item is listed as an inline filter quite different to a depression control valve.

Yep got it now, is the same item or appears to be less all the pipes. 360 Rubles or £6.07 so a lot cheaper as you say. :):);)

The new and old systems work on different principals. The old system vented when pressure rose. The newer one maintains a partial vacuum in the crank case. To change to the new system he would need to change the cam cover. And the little breather pipe is seriously daft money for what it is. £60.00 ish i think. Better with the grommet they must be ten a penny at the scrap yards.
Sorry to dig up and old tread guys but I'm just trying to research this now, is it possible to change the old system rocker cover with a later one? I have a newer type rocker cover (the one with just the hose) sitting on a spares engine with blown head gasket, I need to replace the rocker gasket on my car anyway. Reason I ask is that the breather is cracked plus the grommets are missing. Thank you

Cam cover maybe?
If yes - there’s a load of screws inside holding a plate with a mesh filter in there - you will see a difference from cleaning this out. I used petrol.
Ensure correct Untightening/tightening procedure and torque of bolts. Some use a little RTV to hold gasket in place for fitment as can be tight around the bulkhead.

Whatever it is - once you take it off you will have side by side comparison With other unit to check for fitment compatibility
