Being somewhat impecunious I have Falken LandAir AT which grip well and are hard wearing.
General Grabber AT's, they seem pretty good so far, need to try them off roading sometime however as are a bit wasted at the moment (them, not me).
They are okay but I have got through 3 with sidewall damage. Ouch.
My Vredestein's seem to be just as good on and off-road and are quieter and more economical.
Pirelli scorpion str 225 55 17. Just got some steel wheels so will be looking some at's
