my first was a series 2A 2 1/4 petrol till i put a v8 in it from a 109" v8 had that 10 years all told.
then i had a 90 1987 turbo dizel after a couple of years did a 200tdi disco transplant. still have that 1 to do up for off-roading (some time)
and my new 1 is a 56 plate 90 td5 1 word discribes that AWSOME!

TD5 on the 110. Still too early to tell if it is a decent engine or not.
300TDi on the Disco 1. Prefer its simpler mechanical (as opposed to TD5 electrical) operation of fuel and injector pump, etc. Although I prefer the TD5 camchain to the 300TDi cambelt!

yeh still got it. not road legal anymore though, mot and tax ran out in the same month and i couldnt justify the expense of trying to get it through an mot!
so it lives on my uncles farm now as a farm runabout. my 17 year old cousin (learning to drive) loves it!
