Gas filters every 24k
Leads - had the same oem on mine for nearly 2 years
Plugs - changed every year
LPG Service - every 24k for my system although i do get it done every year - approx £125.00. Never missed a beat.
Engine runs like clockwork.
Not too bad to get 4.6 V8 refinement & power at a similar cost to running a diesel.
Diesel is more expensive in the uk. :p

Also remember the diesel gearbox is soft unlike the trusty 4.6 crappy 2 pin diffs an all that ,all you people that slag off the v8 have just never had the pleasure of driving a good one, everyone I know that had a diesel said they wish they got a v8 instead.v8 rules

Bet i have driven more V8 Range rovers than you have. Maybe not the 4.6 but Range rovers never the less. You obviously know a lot of people with crap diesels examples then. :D:D

But mine still sounds better than your diesel tractor,I bet my Kitcar with a rover v8 sounds better than your porche haha

I seriously doubt that, but you can dream. My diesel will cruise all day on a motorway at the speed limit and return 30+ MPG. It is as quick as i need it to be off the mark, and unlike some P38s who's owners claim similar running costs i can get a spare wheel where it should be. I am happy.

A sound off is in order, but we all know nothing sounds as good as a 4 barrell carb fed v8,non of the crappy fuel injection and restrictive catalytic converters ,so you my friend can dream,

I prefer the 37 litre Griffon myself....

But that being said...the Trent 800's on the A380 have amazing bass note when being started on air.....

And as for the RB211 - when they do a Slam Test - oh the noise!!!

And the Turbo Union RB199 Mk103 from Tornado....growing up with my Dad in the RAF when he trained at Cottismore for Tornado Conversion Training.....that was enough to cause a stirring of the loins I can tell you!

People buy cars for very odd reasons. I want a car that is so quiet I can hear my passengers talk, I don't want to hear the fecking engine. You can make up a gadget for a tenner that will give you a V8 burble in any car if that's what turns you on.
If I want noise and fast I drive my sports car, the Rangie needs to do longish journeys in quiet comfort with fuel economy that fits my wallet, it needs to tow the tin tent or the digger and cope with the hill from my place in the snow. Despite it's foibles, a diesel P38 does all those things very well and I have a spare wheel and a fall back with alternative fuels when there are strikes.

The Typhoon mills take some beating when they turn the lamp oil up to full reheat.
