What money should I be asking?

It's a beautiful motor. I've been looking at such things on auto trader for a while and similar vehicles are going for 20-30k there, however I don't know if they are selling or if they're the ones that haven't sold because they're too expensive!

Personally I love it and would happily pay up to £25K for it if I had it spare. Most new SUVs cost £35-50K these days so if it appeals to you then it's a very reasonable price if it's been rebuilt to the standard you claim.

list for upwards of at least £18k, have a look around people will pay that for a turn key ready to rock truck and then kick it down the road a year or so later when they bored, there are enough people with more money than sense out there lol
Or consider a reseller with a small commision plenty out there

Prices have fallen generally for Land Rovers round here. There's a lovely TDCi 110 XS Utility for sale locally at £21,000
Last year that would have been in the high 20's.
The problem is the LEZ. In Sheffield it would cost you £10 every time you took it off your drive.
There's one in Leeds as well.
And the Manchester LEZ is still being discussed.
All vehicles with historic tax class are exempt from the ULEZ. This tax class applies if a vehicle was built more than 40 years ago, with the date moving forward on a 40-year rolling system. This 40-year rolling age limit is set by the DVLA. This tax class excludes vehicles that are used commercially.

As its a 85 it wont have an issue in 1 years time. That may be a major selling point.

I didn't see the other thread, but, if you can keep it, I'd keep it, its a stunning motor and I am a big fan of that paint. When you put your heart and soul into something like that, you will surely miss it?

If I could store it somewhere I would keep it as it means a lot to me. But to keep it outside with minimal use and to see the weather doing it's worst to it is equally gutting.
