What is this button?

Hi,

Can someone please identify the button at the top of this panel?

When I press it nothing happes (am I pressing it at the wrong time?).
I've searched the manual but cant find anything...

My 'guess' is that its meant to auto lower the ride hight for easy exit?

The height settings on the air suspension work fine from the console, if indeed it is related...

It is for Access height as you guessed, it will only operate with all doors closed, and either stationary or at very low speed in 'creep' mode for access to car parks etc.

it is for access but you can use it for telling the car your going to stop aswell, if your doing less than 50mph and are stopping within a few minutes you can press it and by the time you stopped the car it will be at access height slowly lowering as the speed reduces. very clever system.

Is that a whif of sarcasm or just how im reading it?

Checked the button out when I left the office and it works. I just hadnt noticed the air suspension kicking in.

if you press the button twice it ejects the seats occupant, you have to have the eject speed set tho in the ecu by the dealer!!!

if you press it and the window lock button together it activates the rear mounted anti-air missiles

You're right - complaints tend to occur more often when men haven't read the manual and don't realise it exists or that it requires regular attention from a skilled technician

always important not to skimp on maintenance of vehicle tho - a good service can help it run much more smoothlywith less irritating noises and other poor performance
