Applied generous squirts to the back doors on my 101 ambulance. After several open and closings they still make you look for Christopher Lee or Bela Lugosi when they are moved!
Removed the fuel pump carrier to replace the fuel pump. Discovered the extra pump sat atop of the tank ISN'T sucking through the original pump, because there isn't one. Then saw that the electrical connections for the pump where they pass through the flange aren't there.
On a positive note i discovered that the tank is 3/4 full.
GREAT!
Oh, no. That means my guage sender is kapoot!
Checked the feed to it. It has one.
Checked it has an earth. It does.
Checked for continuity through the sender. It doesn't have any.
So tomorrow after work i'll be off to see Martin at 101parts.co.uk to throw more money at him...

Got a truck cab for it...

Greased the props, sprayed the tired black headlight surrounds body coloured (far from perfect but doesn't look too bad from a few metres away) and fitted a Nakatanenga heritage grill.

If you have any paint left the grille might look better in black too IMHO
Definitely want to keep it silver. Medium term plan is to swap out some of the vents and hinges for brushed ones and maybe even the bumper to go for a full heritage style look.

Better photo here.

Want to put some wolf wheels on it too but can’t decide between alpine white and body colour (cairns blue).

Ah yes, the New Zealand heritage grill.
Why don't you use the grill's complete name?
