Good days work today.
Cleared out all the hay from the back - looked like a ruddy barn. Amazing how much falls off the bales - did have 5 of them in there though :D. Still the Alpacas are happy.

Started on my soundproofing today. Finished the butyl sheets on the roof panels. I've still got the ribs to do but then I can start on the walls. Massive difference tapping a bare panel to one with the soundproofing.
Butchered the front cab headlining (was going in the bin anyway) so I could get to the the roof and last rib between the front & rear cabs. Now I've got a good excuse to buy the new headlining I've got my eye on ;)
Got notification my sink is in transit - should have it next week. When this turns up I've got all the major bits needed to fit out the back.
Sourced my air vent - another chunk of money gone.
Think I've found a suitable filler cap for my water tank - just need to ring Monday to check it has got a breather pipe fitting.
Back on tinternet tonight - looking for plumbing bits for the water system.
Got to get my head around electrics soon - been told car electrics are simple but never done it before - not my cup of tea but it'll be worth it when its done.
Love that one on the right. Looks like a bloke in disguise with a dodgy beard and wig

The middle one spits when he gets excited - ie feeding time. One on the right is the old man of the bunch - he's 4. Keeps to himself a lot of the time - Victor Meldrew type. Brown one kicks if you get too close behind him. Great fun though. We haven't trained them to walk on the lead so a pretty independent bunch.
Love it :D He looks like Victor Meldrew anorl :D

Fitted the headlight upgrade relays,
Had to de-pin the sockets to get them into the back of the light bowls, ran a thicker positive cable to the battery and ran the earth's back to the relay mounting screws so they're easier to get to.

Will have to wait until dark to see how much difference they've made but it does look brighter, not sure if the military light switches are as prone to faliure but they're not cheap to replace if they do.

Split charge system is all done now too with two large 100ah batteries.

That's me done for the day, bloody froze.

Ignored the Disco and tried to find out why my daughter's Daewoo Matiz wauldn't fire up..When I went to plug a diagnostic lead into the port there was already a lead plugged in. I unplugged that and the car now runs fine. Turns out it is the insurance black box. Phoned them and they said it is OK to run with it unplugged until they come and sort it. I will ignore threatening emails. The spark plugs, OBD scanner and spark tester tool will come in handy again probably. The wonders of big brother.
