I have been told some folk do the very same, what difference have you noticed.
how long did it take from adding.
I cleans the fuel system out?

No it's a 200tdi disco into a 110.
It's a tight fit to bulkhead. I started the job thinking it would come out then remembered what a pig of a job this was moons ago.

Its gone quite alot quieter and smoother, I put it in and left it overnight, felt the difference imediatly

Ah I had to do it on a 300tdi conversion which was bad enough, just about managed without removing anything.

Lubricates the pump I think
 
Finished the starter motor. All works now.
I have now looked at modifications to make life easier if I have to do it again.(change 200to300 manifold)
Not stopped raining so quilted waterproof overalls were out with gaffer taped for cuffs. Fishing brolly over the engine bay.
Once finished mrs says she can move the S1 out the dry. :mad:
 
Welded the seat bases where the tack welds had broken, fitted heated pads to both front seats ready for refitting as the refurbishment progresses
 
Stripped out the damp mouldy headlining from the disco :eek: truly rank. Easy enough to peel off the fabric from the liner bit, might recover it when I can be bothered.

Took the dog cage bit out.

Chucked a bucket of water over it...
 
It was a bit cold for the body sealer :rolleyes: The suspension went in really easily :D
I had cleaned off the chassis so I had to spray a bit of paint on it until it gets a bit warmer for the under seal :p

Tow Socket removed and brackets taken off the chassis - now have an air wrench/compressor so easy enough (for once) Relocated socket into the crossmember recess and replumbed - bit fiddly with cold hands but nice and neat. Ready for paint next weekend.

Repaired inside of Passenger Door, it now shuts as one unit - not a bag of Meccano.

Had enough for today.......
