Giving mine a good detail inside as she has been stood, machine polish outside, top coat of paint on rear bumper with a rattle can only the best for my baby lol. Clean up spare wheel carrier, remove and fix front bumper ready for A bar, then wait for all the parts to turn up.

This might be a daft question, but what is 'a good detail inside'?

Seriously ..

Jeez but some days I feel like a numbnuts .. detailing .. going mad with the polish and paintbrush .. ;)!

Sorry, brain was in reverse ..

Yeah I used to be a perfectionist with my BMW not a spot of dirt washed 3 times a week polished once a week. Full detail once every 3 months. A detail is like a OCD level Valet :p

Heh, you'd either love or hate mine .. lucky if it gets a jetwash occasionally .. ;)

I do hoover the inside out sometimes, when our lass needs taking somewhere mostly .. though I do sometimes also brush the mud off ..

if you want to detail the inside of your car properly paul.the seats come out, carpets if fitted.then hoover the inside out properly, clean all internal surfaces correctly.then the glass surfaces.either just vacuum the carpets,or if very dirty then they need a full wet/shampoo clean, seats then need the same treatment depending on seat material.if leather then it's just a clean and conditioner,if material then either shampoo them or a good vacuuming.replace carpets/seats then go over internal surfaces again, just in case they have been marked etc.;)

Heheheh, yeah, I can see me doing that right enough .. sometime maybe .. ;)

Nah, shovel the worst mud out first, then brush and hoover, softer brush over all the panels, switches, and hoover crannies and nooks. I do mostly keep the windows clean ish ..

Outside jetwash, sometimes with a brush to get cow**** off, open doors and spray undersides, door cards and shuts, leave to dry. Very occasionally I let the wife or kids polish it, think I've polished it four times, mostly when we first had it.

If anyone wants to practice detailing, they can on mine!

those bloody warringtonions will nick anything.:D:D

Hey, this ones the dogs mate, new diff, new bushes, new swivel bearings, new brakes going on as well. Forgot to mention new track rod ends etc an all

And my newly painted Disco springs just because they were great on the 110 and because I'll probably get slated because they are wrong and I'm going to die:D

Finished greasing the UJ and prop nipples and anything else I could see, not much it has to be said!

Needs a new rear donut, which I knew about but forgot, so that'll be done tomorrow and also needs a new exhaust. Last time we were out it got folded around a bit and bodged to make it back home, where I straightened it out as best I could .. but the brackets are bent to buggery and the A frame just catches on droop ... and the rear end won't undo to spin it anymore, and even if it would the brackets wouldn't line up and I think they'd break they need bending so much! CBA with that though, it works so can wait!

Full engine oil change, filters, and other bits.

Still have to change the lower oil cooler pipe which is leaking and has been for a while, but again, it wasn't hurting anything other than making a slight mess of the front diff area .. Got one from ages ago, just haven't got round to fitting it .. ;)
