Drove to Minehead and picked up my new (to me) wheels and tyres. 5 steels with good semperit mud tyres for a score.

Went to a cider farm for a quick sample.

Drove over Exmoor and was tempted by a few muddy lanes. But seeing as the mud tyres were in the back rather than on the corners I saw sense.

Called in to see RobinT who flogged me a steering guard (nice one R) and directed me up the Ridgeway east of Shaftesbury (REALLY ****ing nice one R!!!)

Did some of the Ridgeway. A little scary, huge puddles, bit of mud and quality views. All good really!

Long way to go?

ere Pikey - its a long way , just to fill up wiv fool and drive back;).

I din't need to fill up still had half a tank left when I got home.

But it was a very nice drive up though. We did a load of Lanes from Market weighton past Driffield & upto Langdale and ended up in Pickering. about 4:30ish.

Heard from the 2nd group that went out, That FC rangers and Cops were stopping loads of people who were taking advantage of the fact that langdale quest hs closed down, to drive all their routes. they'd just stopped a group and issued £60 fixed penalties and some one got 6points for having a dodgy motor. :D :D Fortunately both our groups had stuck to the legal lanes..
