i've been paid to take better away.

removed gearbox mounts, degreased them(they look niiice),
lowerted the gearbox down onto the x member,
stuck a bottle jack under the front of the engine.
Went in, had some tea, put the washing machine on.

fitted 10, M8 cargo rings spaced round the bulkhead and body cappings. & put 4 on the floor. Gonna get another 18 & replace the roof bolts in the rear so I can put a cargo net up on each side. only cost me 50p each anorl.

Also fitted rubber matting to the rear load area floor & top of the wheel arches. and across the lower half of the bulkhead.

And put my Carboot bargain buy £5 Galvanised chest in the back and loaded it with all my recovery gear. it's about 3" higher than the wheelarches and there's just enough room between the box and the wheel arch to fit a Jerry can. managed to get the tirfor & cable, 20' 10tonne towrope, 20' of 3/8" chain, 3 4mtr strops, doz shackles, small shovel, socket set 1st aid kit, water proofs tools and and various other bit and bobs all in the chest.. it's bloody awesome.
