Well it was his first ever post and he joined this month so it seemed like spam :p

Looked at all the UK companies I am sure these guys to but couldnt see it being offered. Found the dormobile one old fashioned and unsightly and also called them probably about 8 times before I got a call back... which alone put me off.....

Just come in from work and found me front tyres flat again!

Think I'll have to go to a tyre place to break the beads, clean them and the rims and re-seal them properly. I doubt my compressor would provide enough blow to inflate a tyre from absolutely flat unless it's already sealed ..

Heh, glad I went to a tyre place (Tyre Torque in Doncaster) they did a good job .. well, we'll see over the next few days, but I watched them do it and it looked good!

Wheel off, tyre off, cleaned inside of tyre .. copious quantities of water and mud and a couple of small gravel sized rocks! Cleaned rim with an angle grinder with wirebrush head, it was chipped, coated in mud and generally l;ooked ****ty. Liberal quantities of rimsealer, tyre back on, blown up to 60+psi ... then off with other wheel and repeat.

Lower pressure to 34 to fit first wheel while second is left soaking at 60psi, which is then let down to 34 and fitted.

Good job .. ;)

He also, and not many do this, suggested I re-torque them in a hundred miles or so, which i do anyway but it's nice to be reminded ...

£20 all told, can't fault them, I'd have been faffing for weeks !!

Been Green laneing in Shropshire. Went down one of my favorites, which is deceptive, it is smooth as silk then suddenly all goes interesting. Forgot about rain, so the quiet little stream that babbles away suddenly is a bit deeper. No problem, but Hella spots half full of water :eek:

Discovered new green lane that was mostly stream at the start so was able to clean most of the mud off;);)

All in all a good day
