Picked up some bolts for the towbar but forgot to get two long ones for the drop plate to rear chassis rail  need to get more tomorrow then I can fit the bugger

Its gonna stop people in corsas getting too close to me from now on

had a 101 heater blower posted to me......deciding wether to replace the heater fan with it or try to plumb in some extra pipework and install inside :der:

if you get stuck i may have a used housing on a scrap motor ,not much fun to fit but kind of important

thanks for that jm will be in touch if the re-thread route is a non starter :(
think either way its going to be a bitch:mad: cant believe the engine designers would put the oil pipe for the turbo so tight up under the filter cartridge :mad:

did the oil change as the roofing job lined up was a no no in this wind .
when i took the cap off the rotery filter noticed the bolt on the engine side of it was a tad loose , when i put it all back together bastid would'nt tighten at all  turned out the fookin numpty who did it before i had the landy must have lost 1 of them bolts and replaced it with a normal M6 bolt (not the same thread ).
will only do up hand tight seems to be ok no leaks will have to do something wityh it over the weekend (any ideas anyone? sarky answers on a post card )

mines the same, i past a bolt right through and using extending magnet you can get a nut on the back, its tight for space though

cut the head off a m6 bolt and filled up the threaded hole with chemical metal then threaded it into it , left it for a hour then cleaned off the dross fitted the cap and tightened a nut down. have'nt done it up murder tight but does'nt need to be it has a O ring to seal it (wont be as slack as it was before and it did'nt leak for over a year.
