:nopics:
So...tackled the wheel bearing this evening - and hit a snag. The bearing fits the stub axle when tried on its own...but when fitted to the hub, I cannot for the life of me get it to slide on to the stub axle. Is there a secret to this? or just keep trying til it goes? Finally managed to align the flying pigs with the blue moon....and got the beast to the MOT station at a time that it could be tested!
Failed
But only on one wheel bearing...and the drop arm, so.....:cheer2:
for a chippy shop

Many comments spring to mind....but in this case...yes...a lithium-based greasedid you use a lubricant
Cheers James...was afraid it was that kinda reason - just hoped there was a sneaky lil fix...oh well...try again tomorrwoits not emery or lubricant but it is not fitting square ,pull on and off a little in a way that taps brg on with hub ,dont pull back too far or you will pull rear hub seal out
