having looked into it, there doesn't seem to be a way to make it smaller!

that means imageshack is terrible.

Even the smaller version on the page you get when you click the image is actually a full size image, shrunk down on the web page (i.e. you still have to download the whole thing for your browser to do the shrinking)!

try "photobucket.com" iv been using them for years and neve had probs, pics seem to stay smallish to
 
Quite a bit today....

2 New headlights fitted
Oil pressure switch leak fixed
Tyres rotated
new wipers fitted

Next job... fit the new handbrake cable
 
Picked up a new set of brake pads from Mansfield 4x4.
Whilst i was there thought i'd get a quote on some Terriferma suspension parts, came to £1051. :eek:
Maybe next month lol.
 
Put new rear pads on but left the fronts, turned out they still had over half the pad left so no point. Got the wrong handbrake cable again lol.
Did notice my replacement rear diff is leaking so gonna get a new seal for it then i can tackle that and cleaning my handbrake drum out another day.
 
I was hoping to fit my new headlights and bulbs today but unfortuntely the headlights still aint here yet.:mad::mad::mad:

I did fire her up and check the oil and water and gave her a general eyeball over for the first time since the snow. I noticed the rubber boot on the steering drop arm has decided to lift and has allowed some road ****e to get into the joint. Looks like I'll be cleaning it out, re-greasing it and fitting a new boot again this week. If I think it's too far gone I'll bung my emergency spare on instead.
 
Started fitting an oil pressure gauge - All wired in but need a "T" piece where the oil pressure switch is fitted as I want to retain the dash light.
Also fitted an inside/outside temperature thing - was only a couple of quid off fleabay but it looks quite neat on the dash. I've run the outside sensor to behind the front bumper.
And lastly I've added a flashing LED to my MUD Pod - pretending to be an alarm! :eek:
 
Treated her to a set of BFG AT's (Thanks Monarch Airlines volcanic ash compensation claim!)

And ordered the VW relay off 'the bay' thats meant to give you the ability to vary the length of time on the front intermittent wipe. From what I'm told - works on pumas and td5's..... not sure about tdi's

Link to the temp gauge thrmometer thingie please ?

The one I have said the sensor should be protected from fluids etc.
 
Replaced drivebelts in blue RR, fitted replacement ignition silicone covers, replaced intake pipe. Generally checked over the engine bay for water proofing by some choice spraying with WD40 checking the engine didn't suck it into though the joins (so making the snorkel a waste of time!)....
Knock-on result is that kickdown also works better now its getting correct air/fuel mix!:doh:
 
finally got the 110 in the workshop .
replaced the old rubber anti-roll bar bushes on the chassis end on the back axle for some new poli-bush 1's what a fookin differance soon as i drove away from the workshop could feel it nice and crisp and possitive .
also took those god awful side steps off , going on fleabay (unless anyone on the lz wants um

Hi, I'm new to the Forum (and Landrovers), but over the past week I have changed the front coil springs on my Discovery (TD5 2000), replaced the battery, and still have discs and pads on the rear to do. Oh, and the ACE pressure gague needed replacing as well. Just wear and tear really so I don't mind. I've only had it a week but love it already
