cut the front end off the roll cage i bought on fleabay last week and dry mounted it to see what work is needed to make it fit properly

isnt it sposed to mount on to the chassis? and be as wide as the motor?

I like the tailgate stop tho :D:D

the words "dry mounting to see what work needs doing for a proper fit" were in there somewhere or was it in invisable ink ;)
reason its not as wide as should be its off a lightwieght, nothing a grinder and welder wont put right
and @ £94 + £10-90 to cross into taff land to get it  think i can live with that :D

Cut it in arf & weld a piece in on one side then slide a tube over the top. so the end of the new piece is visible. Then weld the other side of the cage on. Then slide the tube over to cover both welds and weld the outer sleeve in place. repeat with diagonal. & it'll be stronger than it was before the cut & stretch.

think i might just leave it as is and just curve the over the cab bars going to the front hoop out to protect the roof and add a couple more in the middle too

Love the soil stack, is the toilet plumbed in to under where the middle seat goes?

thats 63mm high preassure mains water pipe the joints are heat fused to withstand some rediculuce preassure
so dont knock it cuz the branch's in the lanes around here cant either ;)

Just been and had a good rummage under the bonnet of mine.

Now certain that the PAS pump has gone. No leaks or anything, but the pulley comes out about 3/4" and doesn't go back in far enough to line up with the other pulleys.

I'm guessing this isn't right ;)

Now to find another pump ASAP.

So, having had a look round the splinternet, Brookwell have them for £75 OE or £53 not OE......

Good prices???

OE or not OE ???

Anywhere else ?????

Go with OE;)

That was my first thought.

Problem is, most sites don't say whether OE or not. It looks like ANR2157 is OE and ANR2157R is replacement part........but can't be sure.

Paddocks have one for £65 that may be OE, but doesn't say.

I think I may have to do this by phone in the morning, then I can ask specifically.

Just to give ye an idea what a genuine one is....

Usually the 'R' on the end of a part number means replacement;)

My new rear speakers arrived today, so installed them and finished wiring up the amp. Just fired it up, tuned it all (which took ages), and holy faaaaaaaaaark!!!!

It's none of this entry-level stuff, all top-of-the-range Alpine, Focal, Soundstream and Fusion kit, with hardcore cabling and gold terminals. Nothing but the best for my baby! :p

I've rather shocked myself at how loud, powerful, bass'y and crisp the whole setup is. I can't really describe how perfect the sound is tbh. It's fair to say that I've gone WAY overkill with the stereo system, but it's simply phenomenal listening to it! :D
