today i fitted a new wing mirror to the freelander at a cost of £97.and tomorrow i got to drop the prop and check all bushes at the rear and check for any cracks to the chassis and i bet it ****es down allday
 
fitted 4 new tyres :biggrin1: 265/75 hankook dynapros, anyone heard anything about them havent been able to give them a good test off road yet :( lol
 
Fitted a new waterpump cos there was a nasty fooked bearing sound coming from the power steering pump/waterpump area. Unfortunately the noise is still there. The new power steering pump arrives tomorrow.:mad::mad::mad:

The overpriced landrover independent in Bath wanted £300 for one.:eek::eek::eek:

I ordered it from the reasonably priced indy in Bristol instead for £140.:)

The ballast doesn't know I've bought her a power steering pump for her christmas present. I might let her have it early.;):p:p:p
 
Went and changed the clutch slave cylinder and flexi hose tonight. Went to bleed the clutch through and was gettin' nowt but bubbles and the fluid spittin' out, spent most of the night checkin' and double checkin' if ah'd done anything wrong... even had me neighbour up tae give me a hand. Decided to pack up for the night as it was gettin' a tad chilly and for some strange reason ah thought ah'd have a quick check of the master cylinder.... The bastid was leakin'!!! Ah've just dug out me reciept fur it to see when ah bought it and it was the 13th April 2009!
Looks like ah'll be off the road tomorrow FFS! and just when we really could do with it:mad::mad:

take the part back buster,but when you go into the place you bought it from,put on a face like you are about to rip his guts open and eat his entrails.this normally gets your parts changed with no bother.:D:D

HAHAHAHAHAA!:D:D:D Didn't need to mate, he gave me another one no probs without hummin' and ha-in';)
Just need tae go back intae town to pick up the mrs in her wee puddle jumper, pick up me turkey from the farm and then get stuck intae changin' the m/c over... hopefully without any mishaps!;):D

Well, according to Autoglass, there's no replacement windows in their network, or in the LR dealer network. It will have to come from the factory.
Any bets on when I'll get it replaced?
Any bright ideas for a temporary fix? I don't think me black bin liner is gonna last long.
