that means that I can undo the bolt from underneath?... thing is there isnt enough room to put a socket on the bolt underneath as there's a plate there, to which the tree sliders bolt on
Used to have them kits over here in the sixties, aparantly the are illegal now.
Maybe I'm wrong, cant see whey they would be.
Yu can still have a puncture plugged So can't see why they'd be illegal
I checked me air in me tyres and oil and water will that do ?
looked at the tarpaulin and thought "I aught to look under that" and went indoors.
nope - drank most of it :d:d:d
lots of piccies and data tho

I think they are illegal, when you plug a tyre now the plug is like a mushroom, it has to be fitted from the inside.
The kit I use is similar to use but has a kind of double arrowhead. You stretch the plug to fit it and then cut the outter arrowhead off. It has less chance of blowing out then. They're only about £25 from partco.
As I understand it they're illegal to sell in UK, I don't think they covered their use if bought abroad. Same as a lot of other stuff, can't be sold in UK but nothing to stop them being used ... and who's to know when or where it's done anyway?
i mean, i wouldn't use them on, say, a Subaru WRX for instance, but on a Landrover ... even if it's a Disco, it's not like I'm racing anyone ...
