Cheer's palNice Landy!
Looks really good! Please can you let the rest of us know where you bought them from...a link would be very much appreciated. I'm stripping mine down to replace driver blend motor, so binnacle already opened up. Thanks in advance, Birdbrain! Birdbrain by name perhaps, NOT by nature judging on your handiwork!Replaced my tired old instrument bulbs with new green LED’s. After 28 yrs of ownership Ican now see the instruments at night!
You're a star! We're they just a straight swap, or required a bit of modifying? Cheers!Jon
Here you go.
Your CH postcode is showing.... may want to amend it.Jon

Are they dimmable using stalk "dimmer up/down thingy"?180 lumens is some jump from originals. How are they at night and did it take all ten?
Did you punch the filters out in the back of the instruments? I'm thinking of new bulbs for mineReplaced my tired old instrument bulbs with new green LED’s. After 28 yrs of ownership Ican now see the instruments at night!
By "filters" do you mean the green plastic "durex" caps on each bulb?Did you punch the filters out in the back of the instruments? I'm thinking of new bulbs for mine
No in the back of the speedo etc where the bulb located there are green glass filters that turn the white light off original bulbs to greenBy "filters" do you mean the green plastic "durex" caps on each bulb?
I've been in there before to change a bulb and must've forgotten...or a blasted Humphrey beat me and secreted them away...No in the back of the speedo etc where the bulb located there are green glass filters that turn the white light off original bulbs to green
They look good in your pic.No, I left the original filters in place but two were boren anyway hence why I bought green ones. They're pretty bright when you first test them for polarity (before inserting into instruments) but once in the instruments they are ok. You only have to look at how dim the orignals are!
