Replaced the intermediate and rear exhaust sections and had one of those Doh! moments and fixed the intermittant flickering brake warning light by.... putting a spash of extra brake fluid in  I had sort of convinced myself it was a dodgy connection and was going to be an arse to find:rolleyes:

Bought Drover some Christmas treats - prolly won't arrive until February as its off a Chinese website.

Couldn't resist the following at 'pocket money' prices...

New keyfob with flippy out key - takes the guts of the old Disco 300tdi fob apparently and you just get the blade cut to your existing key.

Door Courtesy lights - splash/puddle lights that 'throw' a puddle of light at the floor with the Land Rover logo - just thought that'd be cool on an old 300tdi Disco.

Car seat gap fillers - like big slugs of filled pleather that fit (hopefully) between the front seats and the transmission tunnel with a thoughtfully cutout gap for the seat belt mech. Plan is to stop escaping bits of daily detritus from getting lost in the no mans land of under the seat.

We had an Audi in at work recently with a set of those door lights with an Audi logo, I must admit I kinda liked em!

Bargain at under a tenner delivered. When they are here and fitted I'll pop a photo up. My plan is to mount them in the rear part of the front door 'bins' as I can't get my sausage fingers in that bit so its just dead space.

went out for a local drive around this morning, as I`ve not used my disco for a few weeks now....once seated the feeling of superiour`ness came over me again..
nice high seat position is just so different from my rocket lexus with yer bum in a seat near the floor..

LOL...the first thing about disco I noticed was the smell of chips again.....lol

Been busy again, fitted new trailing arm bushes on the rear end and new track rod/drag link ends on the front, going in for tracking in the morning :)

wired up the 300tdi rear bumper lights to brakes and indicators now to put led bulbs in them aswell and that should stop the trailer light flashing with the indicators
