Got the lift pump fitted today, still wouldn't start.
Pulled the sedimentor bowl off to find it full of gunk, cleaned out, refitted.
I'm getting fuel to the injection pump and out the return line but still it would not start, I have no fuel getting to the injectors no matter how much I try to bleed it.
Stop solenoid plunger removed and still no joy, so tomorrow I pick up a second hand injection pump, as I don't have the fitting kit it's a long weekend ahead I think.
Have you checked the pipe is clear between sedimentor and lift pump sounds like it could be blocked
Just a thought not sure what engine yours is but is there a filter in the injection pump could be blocked
Sorry, it's a 300tdi Disco.
I know there's a small filter in the return banjo, but as I'm getting a good flow of fuel coming from the return pipe I can't see this being the problem.
RAC have just been on the phone, only to say they're still trying to get someone out to me.
Technically last night, But went and picked another chassis up
RAC finally got into gear at 5.30.
The fun starts in the morning.
What's the plan for this one Arron.
