looks like bods like this item.get making a few and i bet you can sell them,either on here or ebay.
Thanks mate,but i used to do that with my other hobby and I ended up losing interest as all i did was make things for other people and then have to rush and bodge my stuff to get it done for shows.I will help anybody out but don't really want to get into making things to sell,i could have sold a few of my bumpers and trackrod guards that i made but my time is more valuable to me than the money at the minute.

I like to try and do things my self. The way I see it is even if I f*ck it up a few times its still going to cost me less than going and buying it or paying some one to do it. Plus have the know how to do it again if needed.

I totally agree with you mate,i have built two or three show cars in the past mk2 golf gti's and corrado's but when you are up against cheque book charlies who just pay out for things doing but haven't got a clue what anything does just doesn't do it for me.i would rather look at something that somebody has had a go themselves than something that they don't know but it cost £80.

Put some new headlight bulbs in which, I'm pleased to say, appear to be noticeably brighter and whiter than the old ones. This also highlighted how scratched my lenses are. I've fiddled with the automatic headlight adjustment and have confirmed definitively that it is not working. On checking prices for the mechanisms (around £20 a side, and £30 something for the dashboard control unit) I wonder whether it is worth it. Fitted my new windscreen wiper switch which I bought today and new wiper blades and the wipers haven't done anything strange yet, so maybe they'll behave themselves for now.

It never ceases to amaze me just how badly some people will repair something! It is probably cheaper and quicker in the long run to do it properly than fix it 10 times badly!

If you see a few of my posts I'm into electrics.... The worst bodges I see often involve screws/nails and fuse holders followed by burnt things

Are you sure it is actually leaking in? I thought the same then realised is was condensation.... There was absolutely loads of water which I assumed was more than would happen through condensation but it has been fixed with insulation.
