put mine up on stands in the garage so the tyres are off the floor and disconnencted the battery and covered it in sheets as i am having an op on my leg tomorrow and wont be driving it for at least 3 months maybe more :-(
Good luck with the op mate
1) get a few bricks
2) lift one end onto a brick....now go to the other end and lift onto a brick
3) repeat 2 until it's high enough to drive the landy up to it so you can fit it
I'm converting my Td5 90 from a tilt (which was originally a 90 CSW hard top) to a truck top, when it suddenly dawned on me that the bulkhead had been reduced by about 6 inches to let the seats go back further. Major issue... the truck top wouldn't bolt as there would be a huge gap across the tub....
I took it to RST on West Mersea and Richard gave me three options: 1. Try and stitch in a section that had been cut out of another 90. He offered it up and it would look ****e. 2. Try and fabricate a bulkhead out of checker plate.... that would look OK from the tub side but ****e from the cab side. The third option was he carefully removed the bulkhead off a damaged tub with heavy side impact and has installed that. It looks original and has done a fantastic job!! That's what I've done to my 90 today!! Looking forward to screwing the truck top on this weekend ready for the winter!!
As said trolley jack or a load of Blocks add one to each end and keep adding until it's high enough to fit to the landy.

Copy cat I already told her that
Nothing for the last week, I've got over my Disco fever and find it so boring to drive. It's just sat in the garden for the last week looking very sorry for itself.
Considering its my only vehicle and means of transport I'd better go to the Doc and see why I'm feeling like this. There's nothing wrong with the Disco,
in fact it's a very good Disco... it's just soooooooo boring
today I have been mainly...passing my mot
only advisory was "oil leak"
flat, we need pics!
