Put me AT's back on 'cos I won't be laning for a while .. Still need to tow thw caravan, but our lass has arranged (or is arranging) to get her towing licence so she can use the Disco to tow the caravan. Stupid law .. it allows her to use her Mondeo to tow the same caravan, but because of train weight she can't use the Disco! Which is safer for towing?

put the power cabling in for the sub, and hoodek it up temporarily with a too short RCA (sounds gooooooood :) )
also found the problem for my fan belt slipping, the one that was on was too big, replacement right size, and now workes eveything ok so now me battery will chrage properly, the power steering wont be notchy at low speeds, and shouldnt get warm on the motorway

fitted new clutch again..

2nd in 6 months.. one that came out is goin back to valeo,,

one side of plate had lost all its friction material?

just loads of copper coloured wire left?

anyone had this occur with their clutch?

glad you poped your head up like a turtle;) how do you holding all them pieces so they stay straight and don't twist and worp?

I like turtles :D

Been using some large G clamps to hold them in place when tacking it up ;) make sure its level if not cut a few tacks and bend it about then re tack and keep going :p

Picking up a bag of five small record ones tomorrow and an extra 8" one too just so I have some extras, theres also a nice Marples vice for £8 :)

Used it to shunt caravan to wash point and back again, annual wash to get dust off:)

mines now back mobile after getting its bearing fixed:D should have asked on here first though could have sorted it myself thanks to excellent advice off redhand and bob, been without it for 3 days after driving a fender a modern cars bloody weird to drive

i have to ask, how did you sleep in the back of a 90?? often wonderd about doing it in mine, I know im short, but not that short haha. Plus with me tool kit in there and bits, it may be a bit hard underneath ;)

I've converted mine, well sort of, I didn't actually sleep in it. It was for emergencies if I couldn't get B&B.

I put a floor across the back so its level, my second spare wheel and toolbox support it in the middle.

Then got a folding guest bed, 4 of the legs on the floor in the back. Remove the centre front seat and extend the front two legs of the bed into the footwell. It easily clears the bulkhead. Simple, I have tried it and it seemed comfy enough, although not enough to temp me out of the B&B :D:D:D

Spent a couple of hours hacking away at the front of the stand-by ashtray, sorry the coin tray in the dashboard of my Disco 2 in order to fit a small digital panel voltmeter.

Just in case it all went to worms, I got hold of another coin tray on the bay and a small 3 digit LED voltmeter with green digits.

Judicial use of some black "gaffer" tape and a bit of work with a drill, junior hacksaw and "my mate Stan" (Stanley trimming knife) and it looks like the newly adapted coin tray should fit and work in the prescribed manner and still hold coins, if ever I get any of my own to keep.

To be honest this wasn't my idea, I had seen a picture of a digital voltmeter earlier, here on LandyZone.

Got her back all MOT'd which is great. Always a worry when you're putting your 21 year old 200tdi Landy through the 1st MOT since buying it at Christmas ... it failed on front brake pads and the advisories were simple petty things ... amazing and happy as Larry, the tester even remarked on how good the chassis was :):)
