lol, I managed to find a rusty old bit that would undo the screws - and have the benefit of not falling out of the socket so easily.We all know that feeling GG!!!
Rather than adapting the door, I'm wondering whether to just cut the protrusion off the mirror and go with the original 2 screws.
You are a right spoil sport Nodge. Not only have I got to find a 7mm and 13mm metal drill bit, I've got to take them to the metal on my car - not looking forward to that.No. The mirror will bounce about as you drive along. The later mirror needs all 3 screws, for it to remain solid to the door.
