That's what I do too.I hate frustrating jobs. I've learnt that once things start going wrong, I might as well put away the tools for the day and go have a nice cup of tea. Once one things goes wrong, everything else starts going wrong!
It's a pain to do, but not overly so. I think it was about 3 or 4 hours, when I did one on my 50th Anniversary FL1. I took lots of pictures, so I could reference back to them later. But the pictures weren't really needed in the end. Finding all the fixings and making sure all the wiring was back in the correct places was the worst part of the whole job.Heater matrix is a pain.
