Replaced off-side passenger window mech', easy-peasy, nice and smooth now. May just do the other one as that seems on its way out.
You are going to have to write up these mods you do chief, I'd be interested to see whats going on, and I dont even have an L-series.
Although a Rover might be on the cards when the Escort needs changed.

Sprayed the top half of the instrument binnacle in satin black.
The beige was a nightmare, going from really bright sunlight to a shaded part of road under trees or whatever threw up a massive reflection of the binnacle on the windscreen....couldnt see anything else. Its much better now.

I'll second that - I may even think about a tatty old L series as a toy just to try some of this stuff on.
