Getting new centre and back exhaust fitted, a plastic wheel arch trim fitted to replace the damaged old one, three new tires on and the tracking sorted

Replaced all the diff mounts .
Not as hard as I thought and I didn't take the prop off first just moved it away with a pry bar and wiggled the front mount in:)

I had code p0240 a week or so back, after a long high-speed journey.

I checked the turbo hoses for holes/splits and clips/clamps for tightness, and it turned out one hose (the 90degree bend one) was a cm too short and despite keeping on re-positioning it and re-tightening the 'T'-Bolt clamp on the beggar, it was determined to slide off.
:(

Problem solved - phoned Gareth at DPH yesterday - replacement hose arrived this morning. Hows that for service - well done DPH!
:clap2:

Now fitted - all is peachy-dandy again.
:D

Was it too short as supplied? Should I check mine for length before fitting ?
Thank you.

Yes, it was supplied short - Gareth gave me an honest response of 'human error' and sent a replacement immediately. Presumably a one-off mistake.

It fitted the plastic ducting no problem - it was at the other end where it didn't go far enough on to the EGR by-pass so the 'T'-clamp was right at the edge of the metal.

My today's news is an MOT rejection / failure - rusty front brake pipe. :(

Thanks for the info. I will compare my silicon elbow with the old original before fitting in case some have been cut short. Sorry to hear about the mot failure, maybe it's all the salt that's used north of the border!

I would think you are even more mad about the missing wheel caps, I know I would be. I suppose they will be on ebay soon.

Yes - this is turning out to be not my week at all.

Don't mention wheel-caps - :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

They are only a £10 or so on eBay to get replacements - maybe my own back - I need to check if anyone up here is selling them 'collect in person'.
