What have you done to your Freelander today

Bloody road salt - they are throwing it on the roads like they have got too much of the stuff in store and they must use it. :(

When the roads dry oat they are white with salt and it blows in the wind. :(

Today I had to strip down the calipers remove and clean the brake-pads and regrease the slides. :mad:

Hopefully that'll get me through to the Easter hols.

LOL, look at the pics again, LEDs are mounted to the roof. It makes so much difference. You should have a look at doing it to yours. If your down Catterick your welcome to come have a look, brew and chat

Yeah nice one, I go to the market on about a monthly basis with the Mrs, so I'll be in touch, whilst she's shopping ;-)
Is it so you can see in the boot bettererrerer, or is it like a courtesy light for dogs?

I put one of these in the centre light (3 Door)

FREELANDER 36 LED PANEL WHITE interior dome light | eBay

Fantastic better able to see when passengers are getting in and out of the back,,foot area is a little hazardous in the dark..

I have one of these for the boot..

FREELANDER 24 LED PANEL WHITE interior dome light | eBay

But its too big to fit in the little light, so will either have to mount it on top,
or put it in my other car and source a smaller one for the boot..

Highly recommended though..
 
Came to conclusion that me wax stat is fooked and is never gonna open again. Headed off to local LR dealer, who agreed with prognosis and sold me a new one - it looks like a grey plastic heart!!:) Fitting tomos, if time permits.
 
Stuck the rear view mirror bracket back onto the windscrean.
Did a power test using the Android app Torque. It reckons my Freelander makes 139.7 bhp at the wheels !! :)
 
went to halfords today to buy 3 bulbs got home and noticed i only bought 2 ( dash bulbs) lol

also tried looking for the solution to the hanging 2 pin plug hanging lose above my gearboxish area
 
Replaced wax stat PRT thingy. Them quick clips are a pain when they oriented to compress from underneath and I'm working topside, still all sorted now and new pink stuff installed. New one does open more quickly - hoorah!!
 
being and got meself some new leak off pipes as one of mine was just starting to leak so 10 mins later job done

took all air box out aswell today trying to find the location of where a multi plug goes as its just hanging about ( see thread if you have a l series diesel please)
