Passed the emissions testing procedure. Had to turn the Synergie off before-hand as they dont like that sort of thing here.

Finally got the parcel from gentlemenofsalvage. Small minor bits that I needed. However, they did not provide me with the bolts for the enginebay cover. Long shot, but do anyone know what kind of bolts I need?:S

This is where it's suppose to be fitted:

you need LRpart EDP1127L x3, or you can take one out from the left side and check if you have some that are alike in your "box of spare nuts and bolts"

You Sir, are a star! Thanks a lot! I guess I'll take one from the other side temporarily, don't like driving around with the belts etc. exposed like that. Will have a look in the magic spare nuts and bolts box for something similar.

Finally got round to changing the front seats over from full leather to leather/suede
did the back ones a couple of months back.
just like the look of the suede over full leather. so happy days

Serviced the td4 yesterday, whilst I was there I cleaned out the inlet manifold and egr. Found coke was a brilliant de-greaser, what an earth does it do to our body's?
Goes a lot better now, going to have to invest in an egr blank soon.
Just the bmw crankcase breather to change. They had the full kit with lid etc in stock but the filter on its own was £15 cheaper the only thing is I will have to wait until Monday.

Oh and what a pig the 6mm screws are for the pollen filter. Had to grind down a socket! My non genuine replacement filter had bigger holes, you would have thought the genuine filter I took out would have them

Worked out that since I've had my car serviced and the thermostat changed, my average mpg has gone up by 9...zoiks!!
