What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Yes. Most of the secondhand ones were being sold for a reason! I had been looking for a while but people wanted crazy amounts for ones available and then would have needed re covering. Luckily no safari lights as hard top so slightly easier to fit. Quite thick fibre glass so will last I think but didn’t help with the fettling to fit as not much give.
Is the front section in one part and the rear section in two parts?
They seem to get good reviews, all insulated above it?

I have had the truck cab version over 6years now & cant fault it.has a moulding for radio & speakers. Not covered it with fabric. Yep they are pricy… but worth it.
I think my added difficulty was it was a pickup conversion to hard top so possibly not everything square. We did our best. Definitely needs two people. Wife was very thrilled to be a prop for the afternoon.

Took it for a test drive…. p gasket is leaking, bolt is seized 🥲

Secured bargain replacement 12L 200tdi for my engineless 110 project that I bought a transmission for last week. In the boot of a Clio 4, in my defence it was 240kms away and my mrs wanted to go to Ikea which was near to it so during a "quick detour to pick something up" into the hatchback it went. She said the steering felt a bit odd, but it made it home fine.
All unloaded now and not a mark on the car. So far it looks like someone already fitted it to a 90/110 transmission but left all the lower flywheel to gearbox studs off that didn't line up and the gasket between the block and bell housing peed oil out and lubricated the clutch etc copiously. In no rush so have time to take it apart and run the measuring sticks over the innards and see what needs fettling.

Did a few little jobs on the Ninety to help cut down on some rattles.
Also refitted front head lining with a few little mods, will get recovered sometime this year, black probably.

well started to install the windscreen.. then CRACK
SNAP!, I mean crack!
I did exactly the same being careful with my new screen. 2nd new screen I had a windscreen fitter do it, did it in no time with very little effort . I was way more careful, faulty screen I reckon, that's my excuse anyway.

Changed the speedo, gauge and clock bulbs for LED's from Fourby (link below) , easy enough to fit, recommend taking the speedo cable off in order to give more wiggle room. definitely brighter and can't wait to see what they are like at night. got them of their Ebay store as they were slightly cheaper than buying off their website and paying postage.

I did the same. Very good product. Unfortunately, two of the holders for the bulbs inside the dash were damaged prior to my ownership so I’ve got to make a repair to fit a couple of LED’s.
