After scrapping a dozen rusted tunnel cover screws, finally got the dead reverse light switch replaced - still no joy. No power to the switch, onto the bulkhead connector block…

Two out of Three Safari Door hinges stripped and renovated, Third one is being stubborn - every screw and bolt on this ‘90 has been over painted and has rusted out underneath - patience, patience, more beer……

Looking for possible causes of the whine that's just started from the gearbox area only to find a different problem. Oil all over the rear and edges of the front disk. Oil seal decided to **** itself. Luckily had new corteco oil seals and new drive flanges. Fixed that but no neare finding cause of the whine. Time to remove props I think.

I fitted the new wash wiper stalk as it was on a switch after being broke off by previous owner , wash button on the dash, the jack plug had been cut off and wiring colours didn't match the new stalk, got the wipers running but couldn't fathom the washer, definitely got the power wire and earth correct but couldn't get it to work , will go at it again with fresh eyes but at least for now I can use the wipers properly
