Hi guy, I'm wiring some lights (4 flood lights on roof rack).
What gauge cable do I need to use for the power feed to them from my fused Accessory wiring box?

The cable used at the moment looks about 3-4mm diameter, including insulation, but I'm not sure what I should be using.

What is the total wattage of the bulbs? Add them together, divide by 12 and that will give you the amps. Then find suitable cable

Awesome, cheers Bob, So for example, if they were 30 watts each, total wattage would be 120W. That mean that the total current draw through the cable would be 10A?

If the lampw were each run on a seperate cable from the battery, they would only draw 2.5A each?

Am I doing this right?
