As you will notice, your question has been answered.

As you will also notice, it takes 2 seconds on Google to find the answer - less time than it took to sign up to LZ, create a new post and post the question.

Maybe you could have been a bit cleverer with your post
topic - like "Who made the TD5 engine" - that would suggest the question is asking who made the TD5 engine... Asking "what engine is in my TD5 90" suggests you want to know what engine is in a TD5 90... which is a TD5... as i guess you've gathered by now.


Not quite sure why you're interested in her parking capabilities, but, yes... she can...

Might seem a stupid question to you but..... today I went to buy the oil for it and I was told by the guy who served me that the engine was made by Ford
The guy who sold it to me suggested that the engine was a Bmw
I have since asked about and have been told that the engine was made by Bmw from a mechanic
Just interested really who is right ...........
Thought that the forum would solve it

Hmm... mines driven the S2a round a field a bit... driven the D1 off road and on road and stolen my D3 on several occasions in the Summer when her Air con wasn't working in the focus :rolleyes:

However, only once has she passed me a spanner when asked and rarely provides cups of tea :mad:

I thought opening the engine bay and looking at whats stamped on it might solve it…….

just saying, now volvo is owned by GEELY,
and there chinese....
oh, who also own the LONDON TAXI COMPANY,
oh and my caps lock button was on too..





wonder if volvo or london taxi engines have chinese writing on there engines too...

even better, whats a volvo or taxi engine when its not a TD5
