Apparently the panel is usually found in military landy's, but not sure...
I would push and pull the bits, but nothing on the landy is linked up at the mo!

Any help would be very much appriciated!

Sorry for crap pic quality!

They're not military switches. It looks as if someone has either swapped out military switches or added some lights at some point - and done a bl**dy untidy job as well.
If that's the quality of their work I'd be looking carefully for extra wiring elsewhere.

Seen them in stage ones so wonder if they were an item for them actually midgets ex army one has them so thought that could be them but maybe not as its a series 3 bulkhead though not te original s2

Cheers for your replies gents! Whether it's military or not... any idea what the buttons are/were actually for?? The red switch on the left, says 'Test'.
I'm crap with electrics, so fingers crossed it hasn't all been dodged up!!

Sorry Bluerlarky I can't help with your Q but I just saw a pic of your landy  I'm surprised I haven't seen you around coz you certainly can't miss that bugger.

Test is the brake circuit test button, its connected to the Pressure Differential Warning Actuator under the drivers side of the bulkhead. You would typically have fog light (you have) and hazard lights on there too.

Barmatt - Haha, you deffo can't miss it!! But she's sitting in the garden at the mo, without her back on! Hoping to be driving about in her this summer though! Probably won't be in that beefy colour scheme though.... Where bouts in Norfolk are you?
Rattlegun - Ta very much for your opinion! It seems legit.... Will have to find out for sure when the electrics are all linked back up again. Anyone fancy putting a new wiring loom in a series landy!? Anyone?.....

I'm in Wells next the Sea.

When you get her on the road and you fancy doing some greenlanes, let me know, there's a couple of good local clubs that go out quite often.

I've seen a similar switch mount on a mint s3. Can't remember if the switches were the same but until someone told me the mount was original i wondered if it was as well. The s3 i saw them on had defo not been messed with.

Part of the optional equipment catalogue section 3 page 13.
Do a web search for Smithies landrover comes up with a NZ site where the optional equipment catalogue can be found.

Orange is rear fog lamp. Push button is brake test switch / light and the rocker switch looks like an add on...maybe front spots, glow plugs or hair curlers :)
