Why? and what you gonna buy now to keep you busy?Sold mine yesterday
We were issued with a section 21 in August so bought an old folks bungalow with 1 parking space and moved in 1st November. £3k for a new combi boiler ! Sold the mgf 1.8vvc. Sold the saab 9-3 1.9 vector sport, scrapped the e39 528se as head gasket went during MOT emissions test and not a single garage would quote to fix it. Kept the 1990 Mk3 Granada Scorpio saloon. P38 has been stored at my nephew's garage since end of October as nowhere to keep it and it hadn't sold since August. If I'd won the lottery and been able to buy somewhere with space for them all then I would have kept them. Never mind. That's life I guess. Put a new 1000cca battery and rear shocks on it before it went. Why? and what you gonna buy now to keep you busy?

the guy who bought it lives in Yorkshire and he used to be a Land rover mechanic but runs a farm now so he's going to do it up and put it back on air and take it to the Land rover show at Gaydon in May so it's gone to a good home. Most other enquiries were from breakers. Wasn't going to let that happen after all the blood sweat and tears I expended to fix it and keep it on the road.We were issued with a section 21 in August so bought an old folks bungalow with 1 parking space and moved in 1st November. £3k for a new combi boiler ! I did this a few years ago at work except it was as I was getting out of the car I somehow managed to drop the keys under the driver's seat just as as I was coming the door. The RAC guy used one of those inflatable rubber wedges to open a crack in the door big enough to get a bit of bent wire in to lift the button on the door. I bought a couple of those inflatable wedges & keep one in the car (to help anyone I encounter who has the problem) & the other in the garage in case I manage to lock myself out again. Alternatively the rear quarter windows are said to pop out easily.started p38 to move it got out closed drivers door whilst running and got locked out bonnet was open so could stop the engine but now cant get in, anyone know a way short of putting a window in
pop out or brake. Alternatively the rear quarter windows are said to pop out easily.
Went for a day out in it today.. no issues but coming home in the dark, didn't see a flood across the road until it was too late, couldn't pull into the other side of the road as there was a car coming. BIIIIIGGGG splash at 50-55mph.. but other than that, no drama at all, not even a wobble
pop out or brake
Snot greenWell the mini proved to be a bit useless as a dinger to keep my range rover nice,
So I told the girlfriend I was selling it,
She was there thinking we'll use the range rover every day again,
So off I went in the range rover and fetched my trailer,
You all should have seen her face when I turned up with a 2002 Renault scenic in snot green.... PricelessView attachment 311459
