What did you do with your Range Rover today

Exactly Actually it was an abandoned wreck I bought to renovate so now I have one RHD and one LHD and unlike your modern stuff, they rarely have anything serious wrong with them.

Finally making time to replace the bottom ball joint on the 38. So far the wheel nut shrouds have defeated me and the ABS sensor won’t let go. I suspected this job would be a bastid prolly why I have tackled every other job to avoid this, good job I have a sense of humour. Anyway, the thing is out of MOT and I need it back on the road for the shooting season. More updates later.

get plenty of diesel/ATF in there to soak in and loosen

Cheers @kermit_rr i have got it out but phoobared it in doing so. New one on order. The job is fighting back. Today was strip back ready for the new parts. Got all the bolts out (albeit rusted in) and now the hub won’t come away from the yolk. Is there a top tip? I suspected a blow with a hammer would crack the seal but no!
