I actually drove mine, had to take my eldest sons girlfriend to a job interview and went of to a couple of other places while i waited for her, it was nice to drive it again
She's at work until 11.30pm , I'll wait until she puts her handbag down on the hall table then I'll surprise her.So everything pops up as it should, how does Mrs Flossie feel about that now.

P38 thor and Gems V8 have both toowhy do some (newer) cars, have a camshaft position sensor and also one for the crankshaft?
one is directly connected to the other, either by gears, chain or belt
is it to deal with stretch/wear etc?
I think you all just make up terms for fun. It took me years to understand what my flux capacitor did and now you go throwing terms like ‘scuttle filter’ into the mix!Wacked the interior fans on full at the windscreen and got a face full of crumbly foam stuff.
Guess it's the remains of the scuttle filter that got into the fan housings and lay there until sufficient wind gave them flight..
Alloy mesh has been on there instead since the recommishing.
Does it? Think I've blocked the rover v8 out of my mindP38 thor and Gems V8 have both too
Day lights on a 1-10 scale too difficult so i went for LED fog, now i have them fitted i will have to fit a resistor to the circuit to stop the power circulating
Have seriously thought about a pony & trap.Emmissions, power and economy.. Diesels are finished. Donkeys I tell you are the way forward if we simplified everything and shopped nearer to home the pollution would drop and if things were built to last longer serviceable there'd be less productivity and money saved for most. Unfortunately we have to cater for everyone but not everyone can be catered for...
nature just spent 2 years trying and failedHave seriously thought about a pony & trap.
You missed the main problem, too many people for the planet to sustain, nature will sort it in time.

Just drove to the post office to send some tat to @payydg as it was not far I rinsed it
Crank sensor on the Transit produces a lot more than 1 pulse per rev. A crank sensor can be set up to provide pulses relative to cylinder for injection or ignition timing.Crankshaft typically only provides one signal per revolution. Cam sensor is so the ECU knows which cylinder is on firing sequence.
V8 ?I drove mine 131 miles and got a reported MPG of 22.3
down hill most of the way and recovery vehicle back?I drove mine 131 miles and got a reported MPG of 22.3
Yep they doDoes it? Think I've blocked the rover v8 out of my mind
