What did you do with your Range Rover today

Got stranded at home this morning, went to put into drive and the little lever under the shifter knob broke in two. No time to mess so took the 110 instead.
Ordered a new fancy one from powerful UK, £58 rather than a second hand unknown off eBay for £30. Discovered you can still drive if this happens but you need a stubby pozi if it's in park to undo the small screw located in the front to release the knob. The release rod can then be used directly.

Thank you Mike,as more information comes out it seems that @Grrrrrr was correct in his assumption, it turns out it was his stepson who he had brought up as his own. He's been taken to hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

When you say venturing to "far places"...do you mean to "Wirral" to see Alan matey?
