Well i think I've made some progress on self diagnosis...
Heatstroke
Yes i know it sounds silly but it all adds up. Heavy duvet while it was really cold.. then it warmed up some and i didn't swap back. I think i overheated while sleeping and got into trouble.
I've got form.. ie overheated in the past when it's cold.. had to strip off pretty quick because I've started to feel very ill

Thats one of the things I have kermie. Causes sudden drop in blood pressure and wham over you go. It does have a name but I can't for the life of me pronounce it
