There is a very tidy green p38 lurking about Chippenham real stunner
I started doing it when we lived in Shrewsbury, a few times random blokes ran up to me in car parks to talk about P38s and their love of them. First time put me on the back foot because I just got in when this bloke came running at me. Turned out he just really loves them.I get waves from other P38's too, must be something about them,,
A lass in a blue D2 gave a wave today and an Alveston red VSE
Chippenham has so many immaculate examples. Mine kinda brings the standard down. There is a very tidy green p38 lurking about Chippenham real stunner
I work there. There’s a few knocking around down there but this green one is pristine!!
My p38 doesn’t go that far and I don’t think the locals have ever seen an workhorse example I go incognito in a van if I don’t speak they’d never know I was a furrener. We’ve got quite a reputation in Corsham lol. In relation to where I am from Chippenham is rather tame [/QUOTE/
I also work there! If you ever want to wave from 6ft apart let us know. Bix will have excitement overload from getting to wave at another P38
Yeh for helpRR waves were invented by Land Rover owners....
Not being so far away from Chippenham i hope once all this lockdown is over and i get mine we can meet up for a coffee and P38 chat.I started doing it when we lived in Shrewsbury, a few times random blokes ran up to me in car parks to talk about P38s and their love of them. A P38 Cars and Coffee would be a good lark. The way covid is going, I suspect I'd have moved on to my next posting by then though. Hope where I am going has just as many P38s.Not being so far away from Chippenham i hope once all this lockdown is over and i get mine we can meet up for a coffee and P38 chat.
That's a positive in some places, keeps the Fuglies off the streets.A P38 Cars and Coffee would be a good lark. The way covid is going, I suspect I'd have moved on to my next posting by then though. Hope where I am going has just as many P38s.
My money is on at least May before they start lifting restrictions. Probably getting well into next year before normalcy starts to return... if there is anything left to return to. Highstreets are going to be deserted.
