After I fitted the bag I took it for a test drive. Now, being a little bit anal I decided to take a trace with the Nanocom. Just been back through that trace and the rear bags performed flawlessly throughout the test drive. Therefore any f*ck-up happened while the car was parked. That's twice now. Frankly I am ready to f*ck Arnott off and go back to Dunlop. Dunlop may perish after 7 years but at least I can park it up longer than 7 hours without a bag popping.
Swap one arnott for another first, see if it is that one bag or side only?
Now I'm really confused 1: because I wouldn't have classed steering wheel, as a dash panel, and, 2: because the bits mentioned don't 'feel', rubbery, to me. I wouldn't say plastic, but closer to plastic than rubber. With exception of steering wheel, which feels 'leatherish'.
I wonder if that's why @holidaychicken got a rash. I could've sworn that suit was leather
I will have to double check. Either mine is in great nick or has already been removed, because I don't have any peeling bits. I'm a tad distracted at the moment and not paying the Golden Girl the attention I normally would. We are refering to this bit with a rubberised coating, under a protective layer of muck

I’m with Dopey - swap the bags L/R see if it is the bag or that particular arch/area. Could it be valve be letting go in the block?Once on you cannot get the new Arnotts off without damaging the connector.
I had no problem removing one of mine.Once on you cannot get the new Arnotts off without damaging the connector.
A long time ago, there was a problem with the crimping on the Arnotts, maybe you are unlucky and got some old stock.Just been out and checked. Same bag, near enough the same place. Admittedly the test-drive was pretty much the same route. The bag has come out from under the band and is leaking like a full-on tap. How? I listened all around for leaks after switching off last night and there was nothing.
Put the old Dunlop bag back on - fortunately I had kept the old bags in my shed, just in case! I'll see how long the Dunlop bag stays up. If it is fine then I'll give Arnott a chance to pick up the phone. If they don't then I'll take the other Arnott off and buy a new set of Dunlops. Not a happy bunny at the moment.

Like flock but rubber type stuff
Anyone know what the yearly road tax is on a RR from 2010 on?
So they are all going to be about the same (including the 5.0) £500 ish, thanks
