Well since Friday night iv been back and forward to Aberdeen hospital 48mile each way.
My 1st child has been born.
We got him home 130am Monday morning.
After running back and forward bringing family member that can't drive and home and back a few times with missus with stuff from home.
The old bus hasn't let me down once and still started with a battery half the size it's ment to be (580cca 70ah)after leaving the sidelights on for 2hours.

It might be a bit tatty but has been perfect all weekend when its mattered

:):):):):) Congratulations on your new arrival,
boy -girl? your supposed to know all the details, mind most blokes don't remember all the details:rolleyes: :p
now your fun begins :D

Wee boy called Dominic

9days late.
All good and healthy and happy.
She went from 1st contraction and bleed to birth in 4minuites (even I can't do 48miles in 4mins)

Thank you grrrr and Brian.
And aye since daily and hobby differs between the rangie and drifting bmws. And I fit wood burners and fireplaces he'll get taught a lot of practical skills. Still back to mother and baby will be back soon

That sounds good. Most go a bit bonkers after childbirth, especially if it is a boy. Assume she's getting sleep at the moment. IIRC that goes downhill after a few days unless he has formula.

She's been herself and like he's always been here healthy and a little sleepy.
Luckily her mums just 3streets away and 2of my best pals are 2miles away and have had kids if we was struggling at all. He's on bottles weight again on Friday see how he's doing then.
His Grandmas got him for a couple hours tomorrow so we can register him and Sort appointment with the gp and shift a few bits around at home.
4jobs to measure up between thurs and Friday so just running about in rangie and home.

The LED change. I deliberately got 130 degree spread to try to limit the spread in the back. The light looks cleaner but not brighter (they were cheap!) but I think it suits the colour scheme better and the power draw is way less. So a success, I think.

At least you already have a car large enough to carry all the new baby stuff.

Yeah, I smell something fishy with that story. Novel idea, a roofbox aquarium. Some mirror carp, perhaps, couple of ghost koi and maybe a few comet-tails to brighten things up! :)

Yeah but surely the water swashing about would make it unstable on cornering. :D
