Another one to put on this list.
Found it !.........seized joint on the steering
.....managed to get a full set of wheel arch spats, has anyone got any suggestions on the best type of mastic adhesive to use to glue the spats on with?
Today I hope to get my Range Roverout of storage and back on the road as I havejust got back from Austraqlia where I have spent the last few months. On the way back I spent a couple of days in Dubia and having nothing better to do booked myself on a trip Dune Bashing and it was quite impressive what the Toyoto land cruisers can do although you only get about 10 mins on the actual dunes and the rest of the six hours you could ride a camel or hire a quad bike and then after dark watch a show of belly dancing and fire eating with a chicken BBQ thrown in.
The old P38 diesel passed the MOT again! What an amazing car for its age. 21 years and going strong. I wonder how many of the new generation overpriced Range Rovers will still be running in 21 years?
Drove Inverness, Carrbridge, Tomintoul, Cock Bridge, Alford, Westhill, Aberdeen. Round Aberdeen to Duthie Park, then later to ASDA, and back to the flat with shopping. While sitting in traffic at the Castle Gate, a bloke in a van was looking at George and gabbing to his mate, so I put the window down. I asked you like?
He replied in the positive. "Ahh wiz jist sayin tae mahh pal, at's an affa bonny clean car. Ahh like eh colour innah. Fit a bonny colour. Fit did ye pey for aht car?"
When I told him, he almost fell out of his van and said "Ahm nae jealous or nithin!"
Anyway, we then set off for Banff and about 3 miles through the city, my lads stressed that he really REALLY needed a pee
"Why didn't you ask at Julie Anne's?"
Anyway, we found a car park where he didn't quite get it out on time so when the tree was well and truly watered, we changed his underwear & trousers and gave him a wet wipe Daft child Why do they always leave it to the last second and then when there is no place to stop??
So we then made it to Banff and had a gorgeous bowl of home made lentil soup at my sisters house. After that, we put the world to rights over a few nippy sweeties and chewed the fat over injuries...
Today, we are trying to find somewhere to take the child that will be A) interesting and B) within 30 seconds stopping time of a toilet
George has been on her best behavior so far No leaks, no noises and no undue flakeyness....
Google translate available.
