Don't worry they won't be stopping people with money in their pockets going in. But bankrupt Jocks coming out.
(OK I'll bite ) I'd sooner end up bankrupt in Scotland than rich in Englandshire:p Although at the moment it's looking more and more likely no matter where you are in UK you'll be broke.

first coat before sanding.jpg

after a few hours of sanding it has a first primer coat now to sand it carefully so i can see any little bumps or dents still there. i know there is one already. just the doors and bonnet a scuttle panel and body plus roof to do. 60 days i think it will be ready to do top coat.

Give the panel a light spray of black paint before you rub it down, it will show up any dents or high spots.

yes ill give it a black coat. i went for a 300 mile trip today for a scuttle panel and it was terrible so i didnt have it. in stead to make my trip worth while. i grabbed a couple more door mirrors which i didnt need but some one on here might one day. oh and i took the top door rubbers off and took them home i forgot to take the rear frame rubbers dam it. good drive though.

Took the family to the local bonfire / fireworks last night. First time i've really driven it since doing the ARB bushes & drop links. Can't believe how wallowy it was before....well planted now:)

Last week i drove from Almaty to the UK its about 5000 miles and the is started snowing the day we left and followed us all the way to Poland and one morning it was -8c in Kazakhstan and we were camping in a rest area and went to start it at 6am and the battery had a massive failiure and had to try and get a jump start and then find a new battery 100km on Aktobe .other than 2 blown globes no other problems with the new second hand engine.
Now has to be decision time weather i spend more money on this car or look at buying a newer model sport

Good effort getting that engine going in the back of beyond. Batteries always a mare in the cold. Did you upgrade the alternator set point? Might help?
