Broke some stuff and pulled out some wiring after removing the crappy immobiliser that's gone on the blink.
You know the rules: photos or it didn't happen!The battery just went and the alternator is putting out 14.4 v
I also forgot to metion i put it over a pit in Kisylorda and found a UJ was on its way out so replaced it before it gave problems

Reconditioned the eas compressor . It's a miracle the eas worked at all. There was almost nothing left of the piston seal and there was no oring under the non return valve.

The youngster that did the MOT wanted to advise on slight play in both front wheel bearings, I told him they were tapered bearings and there should be otherwise they would seize. He had to check with his dad to check if I was making it up.You know the rules pics or it didn't happen

Nice to here of one back on the road, I know a guy with one and a early Lotus elan both just piles of bit and I don't think they will be put back together which is sad, mind I could find a home for a lotus lump in my cortina
